Fishing season starts May 12th in Southern Manitoba. Watch for some of the hot spots to include; Lake of the Prairies, Red River, Rivers and Crow Duck Lake. Locally, the Whitemud and Assiniboine Rivers will be busy, weather permitting.
Lake of the Prairies has been awesome again for Walleye. The Whitemud river has been producing Master Angler Fresh Water Drum(Silver Bass) and some large Walleye.
Also in the South part of the province, Bear season continues.
Turkey season is also in full swing.
